Job PurposeTo develop and implement Social Media strategies that increase online presence and improve marketing and sales efforts.

2 Duties:

General Duties:

  • Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy.
  • Define most important social media KPIs.
  • Manage the company’s online presence, including social media channels, the website, email marketing, and online advertising.
  • Create engaging content, plan, monitor performance, and optimize social media campaigns for maximum impact.
  • Prepare and provide regular reports to the management team.
  • Use social media marketing tools such as Buffer.
  • Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product Development teams.
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization.
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network.
  • Make presentations to Management when required.

    Other Duties:

    • Organize and attend marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness.
    • Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies.
    • Attend educational conferences.
    • Be available to travel for business events and duties.
    • Perform administrative and ad hoc duties.
    • Hire and train others in the team.
    • Provide constructive feedback.
    • Adhere to the MIG code of conduct, policies and procedures.

    3Requirements:

    • Three (3) years of experience in social media marketing roles, preferably in the investment industry or similar.
    • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
    • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and fast-paced environments.
    • Familiarity with both local and international market trends and customer behaviors.
    • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices
    • Strong understanding of SEO, digital marketing, web traffic metrics, and online advertising.
    • Experience with executing audience and buyer persona research.
    • Good understanding of social media KPIs
    • Familiarity with web design and publishing
    • Minimum Diploma in marketing, or a related field.

    7Responsibility for Assets:

    • Promotional materials such as flyers, banners, and digital assets.

    8Salary:

    •  GHS 3,000 to GHS 4,000
