Duties:
General Duties
- Identify and prospect new sales leads to grow clientele base according to set targets.
- Pitch products and services to businesses, new projects and existing customers.
- Develop new marketing strategies and execute same.
- Identifying emerging markets to find new sales opportunities.
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.
- Research the needs of clients and make winning presentations when necessary.
- Issue out invoices to clients for service payment.
- Keep track of assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts.
- Plan alternate courses of action to recover outstanding payments.
- Locate and contact debtors to inquire of their payment status.
- Be available to travel for business events and duties.
- Perform administrative and ad hoc duties.

Requirements:
- Minimum HND in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
- Some experience working in the Agro-Business industry preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Results-driven and target-oriented mindset.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- English speaker, and relevant languages for the region such as French will be an added advantage.
- Be available to travel for business events and duties.
- Perform administrative and ad hoc duties.

- Analytical Skills: Analytical mindset to interpret sales metrics and performance data.
- Networking: Proactive in attending industry events, conferences, and networking functions while building and maintaining a strong professional network.
